Simulate: Running a Decision Revisit
Experience the revisit flow from Today notification to recorded verdict
By the end of this module
The Scenario
You logged a pricing decision 90 days ago: "We're launching at $29/month, targeting early adopters who want simplicity over features." You set a revisit date for 90 days later.
Today, it appears on Today under "Overdue Revisits."
Step 1: Find It on Today
Open Today. Under "Overdue Revisits," you see the decision. Click the decision title to navigate to the decision detail page.
Step 2: Read the Original Context
Read through the full decision record:
- What was the context when you made this decision?
- What assumptions did you make?
- What did you say would prove you wrong?
Take 2 minutes to actually engage with what past-you wrote. This is where the learning happens.
Step 3: Record the Verdict
In the DecisionOutcome panel:
1. Pick the verdict: let's say customers pushed back on price. PROVED_WRONG
2. Write the outcome note: "Customers didn't object to the price, but several said they wanted to try before buying. Need to add a trial tier."
3. Click Save
Now you have a closed learning loop. The decision is recorded, the learning is captured, and if you ever make a similar pricing decision, this context is searchable.
