Simulate: Processing a New Idea
Walk through the full capture-to-outcome flow with a sample idea

The Scenario
You just got off a customer call. They mentioned they'd love a way to share project status updates with their advisors without giving them full access to their tools. You have 30 seconds before your next meeting.
Let's run this through the full pipeline.
Step 1: Capture
Hit Cmd+Shift+K. Type:
- Title: "Advisor status sharing feature, lightweight read-only access"
- Capture Type: Feature Idea
- Project: (whatever product project fits)
- Hit save
That's the capture. It's now RAW. You go to your next meeting.
Step 2: Later. Start Triage
In your next triage session, find this idea in the Vault. Click "Start Triage." Now in the scoring panel, work through the 16 criteria honestly:
- Strategic Fit: 3 (it fits, but not central to the roadmap)
- Revenue Potential: 2 (hard to monetize directly)
- Solo Feasibility: 4 (not too complex)
- Founder Excitement: 2 (nice-to-have, not exciting)
Most scores come out moderate. Total: ~45/100.
Step 3: Assign Outcome
Score of 45 suggests EXPLORE_LATER or PARK. This idea is real, but not high priority right now. It might become relevant when you have a B2B focus.
Assign: EXPLORE_LATER. The idea moves to CLASSIFIED. Done.
Reflection
What did this accomplish? You captured the insight without losing it. You evaluated it without an emotional attachment. You now have a record of a real customer request, linked to a project, with a structured assessment.
Three months from now, if a second customer mentions the same thing, you'll find this idea and know the context. That's the compound value of the system.
